Pastor Harry "Travis" Holloway October 20, 1952- May 10, 2024
Pastor Harry "Travis" Holloway burst through Heaven's gates rejoicing and greeting those who came before him and those he led to the Lord on May 10, 2024. Anyone who met Travis knew he believed strongly in the importance of family and in the calling to win souls for Christ. If you spoke to him more than a few seconds, he would either ask you for directions or if you were 100% sure that if you died right now that you'd go to Heaven. He wanted everyone to be sure! He would say "People want to go to Heaven when they die. They just need someone to show them the way." Up until the days before he joined his Heavenly Father, he was leading people to the Lord. He always prayed for God to bless his family.
His answered prayer is known by his surviving family: his wife of almost 52 years Gail, his sons John and Aaron, his daughter Rebekah, his daughter-in-law Natasha, as well as his grandchildren Trey, Isaiah, Aiden, Naomi, Phebe, and Lydia and his sister, Joyce Ann McInturff. Though he will be missed, we all know his worldly suffering has ended and we will see him again. He would not want anyone to be sad, he would want everyone to rejoice the same way he surely did when he saw Jesus.
Please come and help his family remember the person they all loved by joining them at Valley Funeral Home Thursday May 16, 2024 for receiving of friends from 6-7pm and services at 7pm followed by graveside services Friday May 17, 2024 at Evergreen cemetery at 10am. When you had Travis for a friend, you knew he was always a friend you could count on any time any where. There are not many people left these days you can truly say that about.
