Grace Hunt Obituary

JOHNSON CITY - Grace (Rowe) Hunt, age 89, of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Grace was born in Johnson City on June 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Charlie and Dolly Martha (Carson) Rowe. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hunt.

Grace had worked with the Kingsport Press manufacturing and printing books. She was of the Baptist faith and loved working on her farm and in her flowers as well as reading books.

A graveside and inurnment service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 AM on Tuesday.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in Grace's honor to the Johnson City Animal Shelter, 3411 North Roan Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.
