JOHNSON CITY - Geraldine Elizabeth Flinchbaugh Huskins, 94, Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her residence.

She was born in Marion, OH and was the daughter of the late Albert H. and Viola Flinchbaugh.

Geraldine believed in God. She worked as a dedicated secretary at Inland Container for many years. Geraldine had a few simple pleasures that brought her joy: breakfast at Cracker Barrel-especially eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and a side of fried apples. And nothing hit the spot like a cold Yoo-hoo, her favorite drink. She had a need for speed and a love for her red 1995 ZR 28 Camaro-a love so strong, she earned two speeding tickets in the first week of owning it. Geraldine had a big heart, especially for animals. She was deeply passionate about animal rescue and often spent her free time walking, reflecting, and enjoying the world around her.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Huskins; daughter, Diane Lynn McClaskey; stepson, David Huskins.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas McClaskey and William D. McClaskey; stepsister, Kathy Huskins; grandson, Danny Lee McClaskey; granddaughter, Christy Roark; several other close family members.

The funeral service for Geraldine will be conducted Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Preacher Ronnie Campbell, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The graveside service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be chosen from friends and family. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home to follow in procession by 11:30 a.m.
