To the Lerno Family:
My condolences, on the passing of your dad; may his soul rest in peace. I can remember George and his brother Emil. I grew up west of Seeley, attended St. Mary's school, and as a young man I worked for some of the farming, and ag operations around the Imperial Valley, but I never did work for George. As I say above, my heart felt condolences go out to all your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Georges's passing. He was just a wonderful person. I met him when took an assignment in The Valley 40 years ago. He and his fellow farmers at the "farmers table" in the mornings after they had checked the fields. Later at The Ember Glo recounting the day and the fun stories they all had. His dear friend Jim Davis. Brother Emil. Don Brock. George Legakes Ben Abatti, Joe Tagg Joe Wilson. Produce people who spent the winter. Hard work He loved all of you his family and his many friends. He had a wonderful life. God bless you, George.

I miss the old days at Ember Glow after work. He was a great friend for many years. Our condolences to the family. We'll be unable to attend the funeral since we've moved to North Carolina, but will be in our thoughts and prayers
