CHUCKEY - Gary D. Garner age 41 of Chuckey passed away January 21,2024 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Gary served in the USMC from 2000-2005.
He is survived by his three children, Hailie Garner, Elizabeth Garner, and Emilee Garner. Adopted daughter, Bailey Waldron. Mother, Darlene "Sissy" Stanton. Father, Steve Garner of MO. Sisters, Amber Rogers and Billie Garner of MO. Special cousin and co-worker, Trevor Jester. Several other cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Bonnie Garner, Marvin and Louise Dunbar, as well as Aunt Teresa Turner.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-2 pm at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow visitation with the Greene County Honor Guard conducting military honors and KB Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
