Gabriel Ray Montano, 62 of Farmington, New Mexico, died in his sleep at home of natural medical causes on January 23, 2025.
Gabriel was the son of Benjamine Lee Montano and Lana Sue Corey, born in Fayetteville, NC, and raised in New Mexico along with his older sister, Dina, and his younger brother, Nicholas. He is the father of three children, Gabriel, Dereck, and Miranda, who resides in Texas. He also loved his long-time partner, Teressa Lopez, and his Pitbull, Veronica. Gabriel held a special place in everyone's hearts, who loved and supported him as he faced many challenges in his life. He was known to be fearless and did everything his way. He was considered a best friend to many who could count on him, or if he needed help. He enjoyed spending time with his Aunt Beatrice, helping her with chores during his visits. Gabriel was a passionate, enthusiastic Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider who loved riding every chance he could. We are comforted knowing he is no longer in pain and is with his beloved family and friends who have passed before him. Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 12noon at Hope City Church, 308 West Broadway Farmington NM. A reception will follow immediately after services.

A day doesn't go by without thinking of you, I pray God has redeemed the challenges you faced in this life, and replenished you with love, health, freedom, and peace, joined with friends and family who passed before. I know you watch over us as a Guardian Angel, and thank you for that. You are missed by many, our memories are forever, until we meet again. Love You

In Loving Memory
It is with a heavy heart that we remember someone who brought so much life and energy to every room they entered. His presence was unmistakable-he had a way of filling the space with his laughter, jokes, and an infectious enthusiasm that was hard to ignore. You always knew when he had arrived, as his voice would fill the air, and his laughter was a constant reminder of the joy he spread.
A truly vibrant person, he had a gift for making those around him feel at ease, creating an atmosphere of lightheartedness, no matter the situation. While he may no longer be with us, the memories of his bright spirit will remain, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
