Faye Lloyd Obituary
January 8, 2025
JOHNSON CITY - Faye T. Lloyd, 86, Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at NHC HeathCare, Johnson City.
She was born in Edison, Hawkins County, and was a daughter of the late Sam and Betty Ringley Turnmire.
Faye was a graduate of Knoxville Business College. She was a secretary for the State of TN Dept. of Human Services. Faye was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was the adult ladies Sunday School teacher there for over 20 years. Faye also sang in the choir at the church.
Faye was an excellent cook. Everyone who knew her loved her cooking. This was also convenient because Faye enjoyed the indoors.
In addition to her husband, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allen Lloyd and a brother-in-law, Allen Trent.
Survivors include her sisters, Norma Trent and Nancy Tucker, both of Johnson City.
The funeral service for Faye will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City, with Pastor James Cambron, officiating. Special music by Jenniffer Trent. The graveside committal service will follow in the mausoleum chapel of Washington County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
