Scottie was a wonderful woman. She was a kind friend to my mom, Dolores Kirkland, when we lived in Tennessee. They would go on long drives together, and Scottie showed her a lot of the state. I'll never forget her when she helped me out during my oldest son, Clay's graduation party. She could tell I was going through a lot then as we were preparing to move out of Tennessee, and she took me aside and gave me words of wisdom. I will always be grateful to her, and my mom misses her terribly. RIP, Scottie. We love you!

To the family of Scottie,
I met Scottie in January 1983 when I began my year of Med Tech internship at BRGH. Her lab (RIA) was the first section I was to work in. Despite a little bit of nervousness, she made me feel welcome, and taught me many benchwork skills that I continued to use in a career of almost 37 years of lab work. A couple of years later we worked the late shift together at LRL until I left to go to a plant. For a while I would call her when I worked nights. She was an awesome teacher and friend. My condolences to you all.

I was a couple of years behind Eura in school. I mainly knew her in Rainbow. I looked up to her as did all of the younger Rainbow girls. See you again my friend!

Missy, Lindy, and Becky, we are so sorry for your loss. Your mom loved all of you so much.
We have very fond memories of her at Faith Baptist Church. She was so much a part of our church and all who knew her. Our love and sympathy to all your family.
