PINEY FLATS - Eula Lee (Spears) Jones, age 78, of Piney Flats, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Lakebridge Nursing Center. Eula was born in Sullivan County, Tennessee to the late Frank and Maudette (Davis) Spears. In addition to her parents, Eula was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters as well as other family members.

Eula loved all people, whether working with them or being related to them, she just enjoyed talking with them and meeting new people. Eula had a flair and passion for fashion and turned it into a profitable business by operating her own boutique, Piney Fashions. There, she flourished in meeting new people from all areas of Sullivan, Carter and Washington counties. She loved to shop, collect dolls and visiting Amish County. Eula was a member of Poplar Ridge Christian Church.

Those left to cherish Eula's memory include her sisters, Linda Lou (Carmen) Landers and Cora Sue "Suzie" (Joel) Pierce. Several nieces, two nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive.

A service to celebrate Eula's life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Saturday.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Malone Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
