Ernest "Larry" Johnson

December 29, 2024

GRAY - Ernest "Larry" Johnson, age 82 of Gray, Tennessee passed away on December 29, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Johnson City and Gray, Tennessee. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Ruth Johnson, grandparents, Albert and Mary Starnes, and an uncle, Albert W. Starnes.

Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Science Hill H.S., class of '61. Mr. Johnson was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the Army Security Agency from 1961 until 1964.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joan Johnson, and brothers-in-law, John and Curtis Curley.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 12:00pm in Monte Vista Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Larry's memory to St. Jude's or a charity of your choice.
