Sue is survived by her husband, Terry Britz, of Johnson City, Tennessee; her sister, Bonnie Lucas (Claude), of Center, Texas; her sons Cary Collins (Carrie Lee) of Warren, Rhode Island, and Kenton Collins (Jocelyn) of Collierville, Tennessee; her stepdaughter, Kristen Brennan of Woodstock, GA and stepson, Patrick Britz of Fort Mill, SC. She is also survived by five grandsons: Calvin Brennan, Ethan Collins (Miranda), Noah Collins, Grant Collins, and Zach Britz; three granddaughters: Olivia Collins, Emmy Britz, and Laney Britz; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Collins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Millie E. Goodrich; her father, William G. Goodrich; and her brother, William Garfield "Billy" Goodrich.

Sue was born in Maine on March 7, 1945 to William George and Millie Evelyn Berry Goodrich - the family later moved to Center, TX. She attended Center High School in Center, TX and earned her degree from Concord College in Athens, WV. Sue spent her career with H&R Block and retired in Johnson City, TN as Regional Satellite Franchise Director. Sue was a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church in Johnson City, TN where she was active in the United Methodist Women's group.

Sue will be remembered for her giving nature which was evident in the way she loved and cared for her family and friends, for whom she was always there in every way - she gave unconditionally. She loved being outside; particularly at her "Happy Place" - the Camp on Schoodic Lake, Maine built by her father. She also found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. A dear friend once described her as "a force of nature"!

A celebration of Sue's life will be held in Johnson City, TN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made either to The Alzheimer's Association or Fairhaven United Methodist Church in Johnson City, TN.
