Eleanor Shell
JOHNSON CITY - Eleanor Shell, 87, of Johnson City passed away Friday, January 13th, 2023, at home after long term health issues.
Eleanor was a resident of Johnson City for the past 40 years. Prior to that she lived in multiple states, as her husband Thomas Shell, was a Baptist Minister. Mrs. Shell is proceeded in death by her husband Thomas W. Shell and son, Thomas W. Shell Jr.
Eleanor loved studying the Bible and really was a true Biblical scholar. She also loved her family and we all cherished her too. Eleanor enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with pets. She also loved to watch the birds and wildlife in her yard.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Barbara Finney; son, Michael Shell; grandchildren, Dustin, Kristen, Zackary, Tom, Angela and multiple great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Eleanor, is to take place at 2 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City.
