Not just as a manager, most of us who worked with him thought of him as a friend.

Deepest sympathy to Dons family and friends. I was a classmate of Dons at Washington College Academy graduating in 1956. I saw Don a couple of times many years following graduation and each time he was unchanged from schooldays. Outgoing and affable.Always a friend. I moved West in 1960 returning to East Tennessee and Unicoi in 2018. Rest in peace. Prayers for comfort to the family.
