JONESBOROUGH - Deloris Ann Corby Knowles, 76, of Jonesborough, passed away Saturday evening, February 10, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born to the late Jess and Georgia (Estep) Corby. Deloris never met a stranger, made everyone laugh, and had a love for hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Tom" Knowles; brothers, Edwin Lee, Ralph, Paul "Junior", Eugene "Earl", Richard, and Alfred Corby; sister, Doris Corby; sisters-in-law, Faye and Patsy Corby; along with her late husbands' loving family.
She is survived by her sister, Mary E. Corby; brother, Charles Corby; special fur baby, Roxie; special sister-in-law, Vicki Herdus; along with several nieces and nephews, and others from Toms' family.
The Corby family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 5 p.m. with Pastor John H. Moore officiating.
The Corby family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the 2100 Wing the Johnson City Medical Center.
