Mrs. Scott (Miss Mauk at the time) was an excellent music teacher. She instilled a love for everything from opera to show tunes in her students. I will never forget her.

Mrs. Scott was an excellent educator. While I was in junior high school she was my favorite teacher, instructing me in voice, piano, guitar and autoharp. I owe her a truckload of thanks. She has given me decades of happiness. Jim Shaw
