The devastating news of,Dawn's passing I was heart broken when my husband had decided he wanted to raise our son in Johnson City I was scared to leave my family and every thing I've ever know especially my mother she told me you have a good man with tears in her eyes we have to let you go and I said what if they don't like me she replied be yourself and put it in God's hands Dawn and her sister's embraced me with open arms rest in peace sister I'll see you again I you.

Whenever I´ve ventured to her office at UETHDA, or happened upon her in the hall, she always met me with a smile and a positive greeting.

I did not know Dawn nor her family. I am sorry for your loss. By reading the tributes about her I will say the world is a better place because she was here. May she rest in peace and may her family and friends know that she will always be with them.

What a wonderful person. Dawn had a great since of humor always made me laugh.Will miss her.

Dawn was a caring, passionate & loved individual. I knew her via UT Extension Service where she served on the Ag Committee for years. Also, worked with her on a few head start projects. Dawn impact lives with her positive attitude, action & her tenacity to serve. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Connie

Dawn was one of my patients for years. I will always remember her since of humor. My fondest memory of Dawn was one day she came to the office and she sat beside a lady that had a pin with a bird in a nest on her shoulder and from that day forward we laughed about having a bird on our shoulder. If I had to send her mail I always drew a bird. She was a faithful servant of Christ. I am praying for you family. Judy at Dr. Lurie´s office.
