JOHNSON CITY - David O. Warren Jr. 49, Johnson City passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Johnson City and was a son of the late David O. Warren Sr. and Kimberly Elrod Higgins of Jonesborough. He worked for Marcos Pizza, Door Dash and Uber. David loved fishing, listening to live music and spending time with his close family. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy Fan.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Higgins Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Ethel Cook Elrod; his paternal grandparents, William and Wilhelmina Warren.
Survivors include his mother, Kimberly Elrod Higgins of Jonesborough; a sister, Ashley Ashley and her husband, Jason of Jonesborough; two brothers, Walter Higgins and wife, Nikki Cameron of Morristown and Allen "Scotty" Warren and wife, Cassie of Elizabethton; his nieces and nephews, Asher Higgins, Jonathon Cameron, Randy Smith and Arabella Ashley; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per David's request he will be cremated and no formal services.
