Darlene Swanson Obituary

Darlene A. Swanson, 87, of Eau Claire, WI died Tuesday November 12 at Comforts of Home in Menomonie, WI.

Darlene was born in Robbinsdale, MN and married Robert A. Swanson June 6, 1964, in Robbinsdale, MN. She relocated to Eau Claire and was a loving and dedicated mother. She worked many years at Menards and retired from there.

Survivors include her two sons Eric (Cathy) Hopkins, MN and Joel (Cheri) Chippewa Falls; and two grandchildren, Ava and Charlie. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Darlene will be deeply missed, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service for Darlene will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 21 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701 with Pastor Christine Emerson officiating. 

Memorial visitation will take place that day at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
