ELIZABETHTON - Mr. Daniel G. Rose, 56, of Elizabethton, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
Daniel was a native of Denver, Colorado, but lived in Elizabethton for the last twenty years. He was the son of Archie "A.J." Rose and Phyliss Claudette Peek.
Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Merrill and prior to that he served in the United States Army Reserves. He enjoyed all Denver sports, especially the Denver Broncos. He loved going to concerts with his sons. He was always throwing a ball with his youngest son; he was so proud of his boys. Daniel and Regina loved camping in their RV. He had an infinite amount of tennis shoes.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patricia R. Inserra and companion, LeRoy E. Potter, and his stepfather, John Peek.
Daniel is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Regina M. Inserra Rose; two sons, Adam D. Rose, and partner, Kiersten Callahan, and Michael P. Rose; his mother Phyliss Claudette Peek; his father Archie Jack "A.J." Rose and stepmother Nancy; his father-in-law Vito Yourno and wife Norma; one sister and brother-in-law, Angela, and Gary Givonetti; his canines, Olson and Zoey and his beloved feline Oscar. He leaves behind a loving extended family, including his Aunt Merle and cousins.
A funeral mass will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Tetrick Funeral Services in Johnson City, TN.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for a donation to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.support.woundedwarriorproject.org.

My husband and i are heartbroken to hear of your loss. Dan was a wonderful person. We met Dan at our post office where he worked in Gray. He was very helpful and knew his job very well. Always greeted us with a smile and would ask how he could help us. Our hearts go out to his bloved family. We feel we have lost a truly wonderful friend. May God continue to give you comfort during this time. We are going to miss our friend Dan.
