Connie Maupin Obituary

Connie Hilman Maupin, 72, Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at NHC HealthCare, Johnson City.
She was born in Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Buster and Charlotte Harris Hilman.
Connie was a devoted caretaker whose love for her family was the center of her world. For the past two to three decades, her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. Passionate about genealogy, Connie spent countless hours exploring family history and researching topics that sparked her curiosity. A true animal lover, she especially adored her cats and treated them as cherished members of the family. Connie lived her life guided by her Christian faith, offering kindness, warmth, and unwavering love to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Maupin; sisters, Carolyn Cordell, Wanda Hilman, Lisa Hughes, Nancy Scalf, granddaughter, Hannah Maupin; nieces, Terri Marie Scalf, Stacey Cordell, and Janice Maupin.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Maupin (Katie), Robert Maupin (Brenda); grandchildren, Taylor, Brandan, and Josh Maupin; sisters, Kathy Maupin, Dori Hilman; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Connie will be conducted on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services. The graveside committal service will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
