JOHNSON CITY - Conley Ray Shipley, 72, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Hillview Health Center. He was born September 14, 1951 in Johnson City to the late William & Cornelia Strickland Shipley. He was retired from the Maintenance Department of the Johnson City Medical Center. He loved to hunt, fish and ride horses. He attended Prayer Tabernacle In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Mulderidge.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sally Harrison Shipley; two stepchildren, Anna Blair and husband, Brian Cartwright and Chuck Blair and wife Sonny; twin sister, Connie Harrison; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Potters Wheel Church, 1405 Millard Street, Johnson City with Pastors Mack and Dean Presnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
