Clina Rowe Obituary

JONESBOROUGH - Clina Jack Rowe, 91, Jonesborough passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 in the Four Oakes Health Care Center. He was a native of Washington County and was a son of the late Paul Lincoln Rowe and Lilly Robinson Yates Rowe. Mr. Rowe was a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Marines aboard the USS Macon CA132 as an orderly for Admiral Arleigh Burke. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Rowe enjoyed visiting antique stores and flea markets. He will be truly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Barbara L Rowe who passed in 2024; a son, Roger Dale Rowe and a brother, Claude V. Rowe.
Survivors include his children, Jackie L. Tipton of Johnson City, Penny L. Miles and husband, Cleo of Florida, Dennis J. Rose and wife, Debbie, Wanda Willens and husband, Bill and Angie Gunn all of Johnson City; a sister, Daisy Ledford of Ohio; seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Annex side) with Pastor Randy English officiating and Military Honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard of the Tri-Cities. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. For those attending please meet at the cemetery in the new annex section at 9:50 AM.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Four Oakes Health Care Center for the wonderful care they provided.
