Cindy McWilliams Obituary
LIMESTONE - Ms. Cindy Laws McWilliams, age 63, Limestone, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at her residence.
Ms. McWilliams was born in Banner Elk, NC to the late Elmer Willard Laws, Sr., and Martha Jane Keener Hensley on September 27, 1960. She was also preceded in death by a son, Matthew Ryan McWilliams and a sister, Wendy Laws.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. McWilliams was a Certified Nursing Assistant, who was dedicated to her patients. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Christy Wise, Elizabethton; a son, Mark McWilliams, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Keegan Johnson, Kaden Johnson, Landry Wise, Carmen Coffie, and Tearstyn Webb; sisters, Sandy Abrams (Art), Fall Branch, Sherry Carden (Robin) Limestone and Terri Calvert, Linville, NC; two brothers, Elmer Laws, Jr. Johnson City and Robbie Hensley (Debbie), Telford; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Newman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Mark McWilliams, Keegan Johnson, Kaden Johnson, Gregory Taylor, Charles Carden and J.J. Hughes.
