ELIZABETHTON - Chasity Dawn Cox Reece, 46, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Johnson City Medical Center after a year and half battle of Pancreatic Cancer. She was born July 29, 1977. Chasity was a 1995 graduate of Unaka High School. She was employed at Borla Manufacturing, of Unicoi. She loved fishing, hiking, camping and taking care of her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha L. Cox.
Survivors include her children: Mikayla (Steven) Holtsclaw and Jamie Lee Reece. Her father & Stepmother: Paul W. Cox, Jr and Lucy D. Cox., Her Grandchildren: Sophia Reece and Lane Holtsclaw. Her Grandfather: Paul W. Cox, Sr., Her Brother: Jason (Sarha) Cox, and her Stepsister: Brandi M. Payne. Several nieces & nephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Potter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. It was her wish to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
