Charlotte Joanne Wolfe Lewis Bliss September 9, 2024

ELIZABETHTON - Charlotte Joann Wolfe Lewis Bliss, age 89, of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. Charlotte was born in Elizabethton to the late Harry and Jennie Eggers Wolfe. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Lewis; her second husband, Howard Bliss; a brother, Harry "Bud" Wolfe, Jr.; five sisters, Verna Lee Depew, Burl Hunnicutt, Mary Smith, Clara Scalf and Roberta Simerly.

Charlotte had worked for Texas Instruments and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Those left to remember and cherish Charlotte's memory include her son, Russell (Irene) Lewis; her daughter, Glenda (Dean) Mitchell; a granddaughter, Alexandra Britt; two stepchildren, Sandy Snow and Butch Bliss; a step grandson, Anthony Lunceford; two sisters, Voleen Fletcher and Elizabeth Wheat; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jackie Scalf Granger.

A graveside service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Frank Osborne officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 AM on Thursday.
