Charles Heppner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Robert Heppner, who passed away peacefully in Riverside, California on August 7, 2025 at the age of 82.
Born in Batesville, Indiana on July 25, 1943, Charles was the son of Howard and Clara Heppner. He graduated from Purdue University and served in the Army. He went on to a fulfilling career as a Claims Adjuster.
As a husband, father, and grandfather, Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marie. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his children, Susan and Diane; his grandchildren, Alex, Christopher and James; and his brother Glen.
Known for his sense of humor, Chuck had a passion for photography, jazz music, the Kansas City Chiefs and the LA Dodgers and Lakers. His family and friends could always count on him to have a new joke and one or two old ones to retell at every gathering.
