Ceola Cox Obituary
Ceola Wheelock Walker Cox, age 99, passed away on September 4, 2023.
She was born on May 18, 1924, the last of 9 siblings born to Grant and Fina Wheelock.
Ceola was the oldest member of Harmony Baptist Church in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
Left to cherish her memory are several nieces, nephews and friends.
Many thanks to the staff and residents at Crown Cypress & Hospice who treated her with so much love.
We, as a family, wish to honor her request to donate her body to Quillen College of Medicine.

I am so sorry this is a late condolence and I truly hope it is shared with Ms. Ceola's family. It has been a good 18 years since I have seen her. I used to be a neighbor on Hales Chapel Road in the duplexes. I am a single mom and my son was just 1 year old when we moved in there. Ms. Ceola was one of the kindest women I have ever known. She was just so good to us. I had her over for dinner one night with some of my family and we just enjoyed her company so much. I have thought of her often through the years. I will never forget the love and grace she showed me and my son. Vickie & Hayden Guevara
