JOHNSON CITY - Cecelia Ann Johnson Green, 78, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her home.
She was a native of Aurora, Illinois, daughter of the late Robert Johnson and Beatrice Dixon Johnson.
Cecelia was a very giving person, a lifelong caregiver who loved to spend time nurturing her family. She also enjoyed the occasional fishing trip and attending service at Grace Gospel Church.
In addition to her parents, Cecelia is preceded in death by: husband, James Michael Green; sister, Jackie Amato; and granddaughter, Alicia Mahara.
Those surviving include: son, Robert Mahara and his children, Ryan Mahara, Hailey Mahara, and Ajay Mahara; son, Michael Mahara and his children, Paula Matthews, Robert Mahara, Richard Mahara, Dreama Mahara; and sister, Roberta Ford.
The family of Cecelia Green will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at 1:00 PM at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery gate to go in procession to the committal shelter.
Pallbearers will be Robert Mahara, Richard Mahara, Ryan Mahara, Ajay Mahara, Robert Carrier, and Dakota Otey.
