Catherine Gaston Obituary
Memorial Service for Catherine Hilda Gaston will be held at 1:00 p.m. at The Way Bible Church on Saturday, February 24, 2024 with Dr. Joel Teimeyer officiating.
Catherine passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Sulphur Springs. She was born on February 12, 1937 in Johnson City, TN to Howard and Amanda Waters. Catherine loved being around her church family and adored spending time with her grandson and her puppy "Jesse". A favorite past time of hers was watching reality television.
She is survived by her son, James "Jim" Simmons, sisters, Marty Perkins, and Lesslie Leangner, her grandson, Stephen Simmons, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Catherine was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Waters, Henry Waters, and two sisters, Robin Waters and Alice Waters.
