Carolyn (Orren) Tipton, beloved wife of 65 years to Buddy Tipton and cherished mother and grandmother of Kim and Victoria Tipton went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by parents Haze and Ruby Orren and brothers Bob, George, and Jim Orren and sister Gertrude Manley. She is survived by "sister" Wilma Holland and husband Leon along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carolyn had a smile that lit up the room, brown eyes that could melt any heart and was loved and respected by everyone that knew her. She was an avid Alumni Member of Science Hill High School, class of 1958, where she had been active in monthly meetings and reunion planning for many years. She worked for over 60 years for R. C. Hunter Agency, Inc. as an Insurance Agent, and Office Manager. She will be greatly missed.

At this time, services will be determined at a later date, but will take place at East Pine Grove Park Methodist Church where Carolyn was a lifelong member.
