JONESBOROUGH - Carolyn Ann Huffine, 82, of Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was best known lovingly and affectionately by friends and family as "Goose." She was born to the late Bert and Madge (McCurry) Tester in Washington County. Carolyn attended ETSU, an active member of the Tuesday Garden Club and a long-time 4-H volunteer and leader. A lifelong Christian, she enjoyed reading, cooking, Sudoku, and gospel music. Carolyn was the bookkeeper for the family farming operation and was a strong advocate for agriculture. Above all, she cherished the time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Tester.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roy Larry Huffine, children, Joe Huffine (Trish), Daniel Huffine (Angie); grandchildren, Madison and Andrew; and brother, Albert Tester.

The Huffine family will honor Carolyn's life on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Roselawn Memory Garden, 3033 S Roan St, Pine Crest, TN 37601, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joel Cook officiating and music by her granddaughter Madison Huffine. Andrew Huffine, Kenneth Huffine, Scot Hamilton, and Brian Tankersley will serve as pallbearers. Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to either the Tennessee 4-H Foundation or the Tennessee Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
