Carol Jane Pugh

April 3, 2025

Carol Jane Pugh, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving friends and family.

Carol was born in Washington, DC to the late Carroll Miller and Esther Bowden Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Pugh and daughter, Deborah Lee Mitchell.

Carol attended Central Christian Church of Jonesborough and lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Jonesborough.

Those left to cherish Carol's memory are her son, John Barbour; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Barbour; five-grandchildren: Juan Arnez, Michael Arnez, Tommy Craig, Nikole Barbour and Peter Barbour; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Gentiva Hospice, 208 Sunset Drive, Suite 365, Johnson City, TN 37604.

A Memorial Service will be held in the sanctuary of Central Christian Church, 106 Fox Street, Jonesborough, TN 37659, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:30 PM.
