Bryan Richard Burleson

ELIZABETHTON - Bryan Richard Burleson, 91, Elizabethton went to be with his Lord Saturday, August 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1934 in Hartford, Maryland. He had lived most of his life in Tennessee. He was a graduate of Cloudland High School. Mr. Burleson served in the United States Army. He was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of West Side Christian Church and former member & Elder at Gap Creek Christian Church and Buffalo Valley Christian Church. He loved collecting trains, woodworking and doing odd jobs. He had served on the Board of Directors at East Tennessee Christian Home. He was raised by Clate and Myrtle Burleson.

Survivors include his wife of 64 plus years: Jane Taylor Burleson. Three Children: Richard (Cindy) Burleson, Cindy (Claude) Robinson and Keith (Becky) Burleson. Five Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren. His four legged buddy "Jules."

A Service to Celebrate the life of Bryan will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Greg Key, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section). Music will be provided by John Robinson. Pallbearers will be selected from the church and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. The family would like to express a special thank you to members of the West Side Church and friends for their support and prayers. In lieu of flowers make donations to East Tennessee Christian Home or your favorite charity. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
