Bro. James C. Britt Obituary
Bro. James C. Britt was born November 27, 1952, in Smithfield, North Carolina, the son of Oscar (Mamie Lee) Britt. He graduated from Flint Northern High School, “Class of 71” where he was part of the State Basketball Champions; and he also attended Oakland University. James started working at AC Spark Plug in 1973 where he retired.
Bro. Britt’s home congregation was at North Central Church of Christ Family where he worshipped and sang in the choir and attended Bible Study. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and helping people.
Bro. James C. Britt leaves to cherish his memory: wife Elaine Britt, daughter, Keisha Jack; 4 brothers, Alonza (Bettie Jean) Lee of Smithfield, North Carolina, Jimmie Britt of Flint, Michigan, Wayman (Dinah) Britt of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Vaddie Jay (Vivian) Britt of Flint, MIchigan; sister, Katrina (Cookie) and Latrelle Holmes of Flint, Michigan.
Bro. James C. Britt was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Mamie Britt; son, James Abrams; sisters, Myrtle B. Lee, Vida Jean Morgan and Joyce Britt, brother, Kenny Ray Britt, niece, Tamara Britt and nephew, Jimmy Britt, Jr. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to McLaren-Flint ICU doctors and nursing staff and Storm Abrams for their unwavering support.

I remember when he came to the school, he was one of the nicest classmates, soft spoken and good spirited. I never knew that he was still in the area.
