ELIZABETHTON - Brendan "Bubby" James Kingery, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2023, in Elizabethton, TN. He was born to parents Samantha Crawford and Justin Kingery on July 7, 2022.
Brendan was the absolute happiest little boy. He loved playing and getting into everything with his sister and partner-in-crime, Shaylin. They were inseparable. Bath time was one of his favorite things to do, as well as play time with daddy, cuddles with mommy, dancing with Jeremy and getting lovin's from "momma" Cristy. He loved his blankets and could never go to sleep without one. Brendan was adored by everyone he got to meet and was loved so deeply by his family. We will miss him with that big smile every second of every day, forever.
In addition to his parents, Brendan is survived by his "momma" Cristy Kingery; sisters, Shaylin, Leah, Cheyanne and Chantel; brothers, Damien and Jacai; grandparents, Nichole and James Bennett, Dory and Everett Wade, Charles Kingery and Joanie Bennett; aunts, Jaclyn, Raina, Cheylee, Brooklyn and Milly; cousins, Cruz, Johnnie, Shian, Jeremy (his best friend), Kaylee, Kelsea, Rosalee and Seth; plus many more family members and friends.
Brendan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Brenda York; great-uncle, Daniel Altman; grandmother, Laurie Kingery; and cousin Lilith Salyers.
The family of Brendan Kingery will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1 PM with Clyde Swiger officiating. The graveside service will immediately follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. The family asks that everyone attending wear a blue or yellow shirt for Brendan.
