Brandy Rose Harrison Castle July 7, 2024
GRAY - Brandy Rose Harrison Castle, 48, of the Gray community, came to know Christ as her Savior at an early age and on Sunday evening, July 7, 2024, she met Him face to face as she entered into her eternal home. Brandy spent her final time on earth at home surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of Glenda Harrison and the late Gordon Harrison.
Brandy was a charter member and the Pastor's wife at Wayland Free Will Baptist Church. She was an RN, retiring from Mountain Home. Brandy also worked at Caris Hospice, and JCMC Hospice. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Brandy's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and getting to spend time with them. She also looked forward to Vacation Bible School every year at church.
In addition to her mother, Brandy is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Pastor Jason Castle; children, Alexa Hall (Dustin), Heath Castle (Whitney), Karalyne Shipley (Chaz); grandchildren, Case, Canaan, Castle Rose Hall, and Karder Shipley; sister, Shannon Adams (Terry); brother, Joey Harrison (Kellie); Brandy's best friend since the second grade, Kristi Reese Wallen; along with several nieces and nephews.
The Castle family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Wayland Free Will Baptist Church from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 7 p.m. with Brandy's husband Pastor Bo Castle officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Heath Castle, Dustin Hall, Chaz Shipley, Joey Harrison, Ethan Brant, and Colton Horne will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Case and Canaan Hall. Everyone who wishes to attend the Committal Service is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m.
The Castle family would like to extend a special thank you to Brandy's best friend, Kristi Reese Wallen her care, love, and dedication will never be forgotten. They would also like to thank Brandy's mom Glenda, her mother-in-law, Charlotte Hensley, the many members of Wayland Free Will Baptist Church, and Amedisys Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the Castle family has requested that donations be made in Brandy's memory to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America 375 Kings Hwy N. Suite B Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
