JOHNSON CITY - Bonnie Elise Hannah, known to her loved ones as Bonnie, passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 71 in Johnson City, TN.
She was born on February 11, 1952, in Pawtucket, RI to the late Beryl E. Andrews-Endow and Frank Andrews. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christina E. Hannah.
Bonnie was a woman of integrity and faith-living her life in service to others. She possessed a remarkable talent for sewing, cooking, baking, catering, and interior design; always using her skills to benefit her family, friends, and church community. Her pragmatic and honest nature was complemented by a wry sense of humor that would catch you off guard at the most unexpected moments. Bonnie's resourcefulness allowed her to stretch a dollar further than most; a skill she used to bless the lives of those around her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Amanda H. Hannah; her sons, Benjamin D. Hannah, and Gregory C. Hannah; and her grandson, Ethan W. Hannah. In addition, Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth A. McClaine, Jennifer L. Schofield and Linda G. Andrews; as well as her brothers, Scott D. Andrews and Glen U. Andrews.
Bonnie's dedication to her family and community extended beyond her role as a mother. She was known for her unwavering faith and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ. Her commitment to her beliefs brought her comfort and strength throughout her life.
A ceremony to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 211 Mayflower Rd. Johnson City, TN 97601 on Saturday, October 14th, at 10:30 am.
Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her selflessness, talents, and loving nature will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
