JONESBOROUGH - Bobby Davis, age 93, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the James H. Quillen VAMC, Community Living Center. Bobby was born in Fayette County, Georgia, to the late Coy Thomas Davis and Willie Parrott Davis. He was 1 of 4 children and a graduate of Smith High School in Atlanta, GA. Following high school, he went to work for the International Harvester in Atlanta.

Bobby voluntarily joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Langley Field, Colorado. During his service, he received several honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. While in Colorado, he married Regina Eisenhower, beginning a marriage that lasted 72 years.

After his honorable discharge, Bobby worked for Standard Oil of Kentucky before beginning his career in government services, from which he retired.

Bobby, Regina along with their daughter Pam moved to Jonesborough, TN to be near family.

Bobby enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Bobby developed hobbies of oil painting and playing the piano. Bob and Regina shared a love of travel and took many trips and cruises together.

Bobby was a faithful member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church where he volunteered on various committees for many years. He also hosted the church's Thanksgiving Breakfast, was a member of the Jonesborough Civitan Club, and was co-founder of the annual Chilli Supper fundraiser.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Eisenhower Davis; his children Pamela Davis Ward (Alan) and Douglas Davis, siblings Sara Davis Marshall, grandchildren Patrick Ward, Andrew Ward, Sean Davis, Trevor Davis, Rachel Murphy (Ryan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Coy Thomas Davis, Jr. and Clyde Davis of Fayette County, GA, children Robin Suzette Davis and Anthony Joel Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Jonesborough United Methodist Church, 211 W Main Street, Jonesborough, TN with Reverend Richie Hayes officiating. Military honors will be rendered by Boone Dam VFW Post #4933 and members of the Shaw Air Force Base Honor Guard. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Olivia Schmidt and the Hospice Team at the Mountain Home VA Community Living Center for all the love and care that was shown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Boy Scout Troop 240, 1124 Keeview Drive, Gray, TN 37615.
