Mr. Billy Joe Lewis October 4, 1940- May 18, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Mr. Billy Joe Lewis, age 83, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Lewis was born in Limestone, Tennessee on October 4, 1940, to the late Joseph Doss & Edna Reed Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Fonda Lewis, brother, Don Lewis and a sister, Joan Lewis.
He retired from Tennessee Eastman after 30 years of service.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Ford, Elizabethton; son, Timothy Lewis, Limestone; grandchildren, Tessa Sammons, Johnson City and Kiaya Finch, Bristol; great-grandchildren, Theodore Joseph Finch and Harvey Isaac Finch; two sisters, Patsy Kyker, Telford and Linda Babcock, Tusculum; and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 12, Noon, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Monte Vista Burial Park.
