Bill Reynolds Obituary

Bill A. Reynolds

December 13, 1951 -

December 19, 2025

Bill A. Reynolds, 74, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord following a lengthy illness on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Bill was born on December 13, 1951, to the late Andrew and Margaret Reynolds. He was a graduate of Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, Class of 1971. A very proud veteran, Bill served in the United States Air Force, continuing a cherished family tradition of military service. During his time in the Air Force, he worked as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist- a role that became the foundation of his lifelong career in the nuclear industry.

Bill began that career at the Rocky Flats Plant in Golden, Colorado. He later moved east, where he worked for Nuclear Fuel Services for 15 years as a project manager until his retirement in 2005.

In 1978, Bill met Annette, and they welcomed their son, Matthew Henry, in 1984. Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who treasured time with his family.

In his spare time, Bill enjoyed firearm activities, woodworking, and gardening- especially growing tomatoes. Bill was a Georgia Bulldogs fan who also shared a special bond with his black lab mix, Abby.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Reynolds; his sister, Evelyn Freeman; and his cherished companion, Abby.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Annette; his son, Matthew Henry; his granddaughter, Heidi; his sister, Donna (Greg) Ray; his sister-in-law, Valerie Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill's family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will commence at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, January 28, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic section). Those attending are asked to please meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's preferred charity.
