In addition to her parents; Jane Ferguson, Stepfather Benjamin Ferguson, and Father Chester Curtis; she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Weatherford.

Beloved friends include John Burns from Boone, NC and Barbra Ananos, from Jupiter Beach, FL.

Beverly lived a life of service to her church, her family, and her community. She began her career as an educator in 1962 and retired in 2003. She began teaching in Johnson County, TN in 1976, and touched the lives of an estimated three generations of the county's children. After her retirement, she continued to serve the Mountain City First United Methodist Church by participating in the church choir, food pantry, annual bazar, and the church's thrift shop. Beverly also remained active in her community by volunteering at Heritage Hall and the public library. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting; and was a founding member of the "Tennessee Sunrise Quilt Guild". She was a loving wife and mother who always put her family first.
