Betty Morin Obituary

Mrs. Betty Ann Morin February 6, 1937 March 30, 2024 TELFORD - Mrs. Betty Ann Morin, age 87, Telford, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Morin was born February 6, 1937, in Jonesborough, Tennessee to the late Roy & Pauline Greenwell Story. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Morin, son, Greg Abbe and two brothers, Wayne Story and Burnie Story.

She was a member of Telford United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Gwen Hodapp, Telford; a son, Chris Morin, Nashville; sister, Jackie McElyea (James), Jonesborough; brother, Gary Story (Teresa), Johnson City; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Hansen, nurses Sandy and Allison, and Dr. Patel for their wonderful care.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie McGowen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00- 7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service.

James, Jackie & Gary and family very sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. Regardless how sick they are we are never ready to really turn loose and let go. That is another reason we have God our heavenly father to make decisions for us. Will be praying for each of you and God knows the need for the hour.
