Mrs. Betty Joyce Street Correll, age 86, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Four Oaks Health Care.
Betty was the daughter of the late Will and Maggie Street. In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill J. Correll, son Doug Eric Correll, two sisters and four brothers.
Betty was a graduate of Jonesborough High School.
She was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Betty retired from Washington County Schools with over 30 years of service as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant at Jonesborough Elementary.
Survivors include her two children; Greg (Kim) Correll, Tracy (Vaughn) Baldwin, five grandchildren; Matthew (Haley) Barkley, Haeli Correll (Jimmy Morrow), Brooklyn (Braxton) Duncan, Victoria Baldwin, and Madison Baldwin; nine great-grandchildren Kiersten, Callie, Clay, Nora, Peyton, Jayla, Burton, Ken, and Zaila; one brother Jim (Imogene) Street; two sisters Willadean "Pickle" (Gary) Douglas and Tonie (Walter) Sherfey; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Four Oaks Health Care for their constant assistance.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday July 3, 2023, at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Allen Huff officiating.
Pallbearers will be family.
