Betty Conley Obituary
July 5, 2025
JONESBOROUGH - Betty Jean Conley, 90, Jonesborough, joined the love of her life in heaven, Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was born in Piney Flats and was a daughter of the late Harrison and Cora Payne Creasy.
Betty was a beloved member of Central Christian Church in Jonesborough. She had a passion for collecting clocks and took great joy in her unique hobby. A devoted wife and loving daughter, Betty was truly one of a kind and cherished by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by the love of her life for 70 years, husband, Bob Conley.
Survivors include her sister, Connie Deanhardt (David); special niece, Misty Waldrop (fiancé Kenny Wilson); special nephew, Jeremy Deanhardt; niece, Gail Lewis; nephews, Scott and Mike Conley; special cousin and friend, Barbara Yokley; several other cousins and friends; a special great niece and the apple of her eye, Rylee Waldrop.
The funeral service for Betty will be conducted Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Rev. Russell Payne, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The graveside committal service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be chosen from friends and family. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 a.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU nurses on the 2100 wing at the Johnson City Medical Center for the wonderful care they gave Betty, especially the nurse who held her hand when she passed.
