JOHNSON CITY - Mrs. Betty C. Bradshaw, 86, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was a resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Steve and Rose Dulaney Tester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 grandsons Bobby Tester, Brad Tester and Cody Lyle, sister: Jean Sutphin and brothers: Bill Tester, Jack Tester, Howard Tester and Charles Tester.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Rev. Hobart Bradshaw; sons: Danny Tester and wife Patty and Bobby Tester and wife Sandy; Grandsons: Jonathan Tester and Joshua Tester; Great Granddaughter Lilly Tester; Sisters: Ruth Story and Dorothy Clark; Step Children: Sarah Harmon and husband James, Kimberly Smith and husband Randy, Robin Lyle and husband Rick, Jill Orton and husband Tommy, Tonya Burleson and husband Joseph and Tony Bradshaw; 15 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was a member of Hampton Church of God, Hampton, Tennessee.
The funeral service for Betty will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2024 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Pastor David Dugger, Pastor Bryant Collins officiating. Special music by Beulah Duvall and Queenie Wheeler. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the service hour. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Tester, Joshua Tester, J.T. Orton, Tommy Orton, Holden Orton and Harold Presnell. For those attending you are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 AM.
