Bertram Allen Obituary

Bertram S. Allen, Jr.

February 27, 1946 -

January 15, 2026

In his own words:

"Bert Allen tried to live his faith, his patriotism, and his love for others, yet he frequently failed to meet the mark set by his Savior. He tried to be giving, sharing, and enjoying the presence of: others - people, animals, and the blessings our Lord has provided.

If you feel led to get together with others, do something that will be a blessing. Volunteer giving yourself literally to Appalachia Service Project, or caring for veterans who served our nation, or in the work of your choice for the Kingdom of God."

Per his request, there will be no formal services or funeral and his body will be donated to Quillen College of Medicine.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses, staff, and doctors at Mountain Home V.A. Community Living Center. Your compassion, dedication, and attentive care were deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.
