Bennie "Ben" Lee Collins July 3, 2024 JOHNSON CITY - Bennie "Ben" Lee Collins, 79 Johnson City passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in the Ballad Health Hospice House of Bristol. He was a Washington County native and was a son of the late Jeff and Nancy Sanders Collins. Ben had worked in construction as a roofer for many years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. Collins and Robert Collins and two sisters, Helen Sanders and Annie Graybeal.
Survivors include his children, Brian Collins, Angela Nickles and her husband, Charles, Chris Tilson and Jeff Thompson; three brothers, Matthew Collins, Junior Collins and Ronald Collins; a sister, Maggie Collins; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also multiple nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City.
