ELIZABETHTON - Benick Gordon Emmert, 75, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 in the Hillview Health Center. He was born February 11, 1949 in Carter County, to the late Benick & Marilyn Culler Emmert. He was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Emmert was retired from The Bosch Company, Johnson City. He loved to ride his Motorcycle and work in his yard. He was a member of Big Springs Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Emmert and a brother: Larry Emmert.
Survivors include his Daughters: Crystal Peradotto and husband Rick and Cindy Emmert. Three Grandchildren: Rheana Carpenter, Dylan Guy and Bailey Peradotto. Two Great Grandchildren. Melody Carpenter and Paisley Carpenter. One Sister: Charlotte Jones & Husband Wayne, A Sister-In-Law: Sharon Emmert.
A Service to Celebrate the life of Benick Emmert will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gordon Williams, Kevin Williams, Charlie Miller, Richard Burleson, Mike Lewis , Wayne Jones and Mark Flowers. The family would like to express a special thank you to Nora Garcia and Josh Casillas for the excellent care that was given to him during his illness. Military Honors will be provided. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.

He was a very special man. Danny and I only got to ride motorcycles with him once,but we enjoyed that special moment.
