Barbara Jo McKinley, 50 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Sullivan, IN on December 27, 1973 to Bruce McKinley and Martha McClary McKinley.
Barbara loved being outdoors, enjoyed gardening, and loved cooking, she was truly a free spirit.
Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Shyanne Harmon (Kyle), and Autumn Brown, as well as her mother Martha McKinley. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Kendyl Harmon, Xavion Brown, and Rhett Harmon, her sister, Shannon McKinley-Stantz, and niece Kalee Snyder (Nollie), Garrett Stantz-McKinley, and Joey Goble, as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her son Matthew Grimes, and granddaughter Maddalynn Grimes.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the former Odd Fellows Building on the square in Sullivan, IN on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
