JONESBOROUGH – Mrs. Barbara Rogers Gray, age 72, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Gray was born on January 20, 1952, in Washington County, to the late James Drew & Peggy Lou Runner Keasling. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Keasling, two brothers-in-law, J.B. Rogers and Charles Chandler.
She was a member of Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gray worked in the cafeteria at Lamar School.
Survivors include her children, Chris Rogers, and Bridget Dow (Shawn), all of Erwin; three grandchildren, Rylan Dow, Emma Dow and Hunter Gray; one brother, John Keasling (Cindy); three sisters, Roxanna Rogers, Patsy Shuffler (Larry) and Janie Plemmons (Eddie); and many special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, October 7, 2024, at Nolichuckey Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Murdock officiating. Graveside services will follow at Bumpus Cove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Rogers, Drew Keasling, Jacob Holt, Nathan Holt, Dustin Plemmons, Eli McIntosh, Luke McIntosh, Conner McIntosh and Chandler Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
